in my organisation we have courses that can be re-done. The courses have a lesson or quiz activity that allow multiple attempts and we use the certificate plugin module which has an option to display the activity completion date on the certificate (which is based on the grade book gradedate value.)
the previous and current attempts may both be 100%
In a quiz activity, this will display the gradedate of the latest attempt on the certificate which is good
in lesson activity it only ever displays the first completion date regardless of subsequent attempts - i.e. the grade book gradedate value is not updated after the first attempt.
Can someone confirm that this is the way the code works for the lesson module ?
Is there a way to get the lesson activity to record the latest attempt date as the gradedate?
