You can certainly create a questionnaire similar to that vark questionnaire. You'll have to use the Personality test feature, see https://docs.moodle.org/33/en/Questionnaire_Personality_test
Of course in order to do that you'll have to know how the vark questionnaire evaluates the answers.
Hello Joseph,
Thanks for your inputs. I did go through the link you have sent earlier too. However, for the VARK questionnaire, we need to use Checkboxes and there can be more than 1 answer for a question and based which answer you choose, we need to give a grade for V, A, R or K. The number of V and A and R and K provide the result for that particular personality type.
This I understand is not currently possible with Moodle Questionnaire. Was considering is there was a workaround for the same.

Lakshmi
Re: Need to provide the VARK questionnaire to students
Guys, I am sure this is a question I have seen in the forums in other places, so try Googling.
There is also discussion about the lack of scientific evidence for VARK.
Good luck.

Hi Lakshmi,
I've had another look at the VARK questionnaire link that you gave. I'm surprised that there can be more than one answer to each question. Anyway, it's impossible to tell you whether you can actually construct such a questionnaire using the Moodle questionnaire Personality Test feature without having an access to the evaluation system behind the scenes. It seems that VARK is a commercial venture so of course they will not disclose their system.
The problem is that there are a number of such online questionnaires available but they rarely give away their scoring system. I hope you will find one which suits your needs, and which allows the use of either radio buttons (ONE answer per question) or, better, rate questions.
thanks Joseph. Appreciate your inputs.
I have a similar problem. I want to administer the VAK (same as VARK but no reading/writing) and I have the scoring system. I have studied the Questionnaire_ personality test instructions and have read forums dating back to 2009, but no one has given a solution. In our case, there is just one answer for each question, but the answers need to be tallied and the result is based on the number of answers that correspond to each learning type.
If possible, we would also like to vary the possible answers so that not all A's apply to "Visual", for example, because after a while it becomes obvious how the test is being scored and the taker can begin to manipulate it.
Any suggestions?
Thanks so much!!!
Hi Kim,
It would be much easier to answer your question if you posted the actual text of your VAK questionnaire here.
Well, I am looking at VARK now, instead of VAK... it seems more complete and I have the scoring sheet. The only thing is that it is in Spanish.
I am attaching the link to the page I just found in English. It has the questions and the scoring. Basically there are three options for each question and each ones corresponds to one of the learning styles.
