moodle version : 3.2.1

Custom theme : DVMYoung
I Upgraded moodle from 2.8.3 to 3.2.1
In 2.8 moodle has popup notification and 3.2.1 moodle has "red square with white text indicator at the top right corner of the page by the user name''.
I am using custom theme and its missing 'toggle notification menu' and 'toggle message menu' . If I change theme to boost its working.
But my custom theme it's missing. How can I get these to my custom theme? I can copy code if someone give me right instruction.
