Hi,
After upgrading two websites to 3.3.1 one of them does not display user profile pictures after the upgrade and in addition no matter which theme I use I got many "undefined" pop up boxes. I browsed around and do not see a clear resolution to these issues.
Any help would be appreciated.

Those undefined popup boxes might be tours for the admin user. Turn off Tours.
Use Site Admin Search for 'tour' to find where to hide (closed eye).

Thank you Ken. Seems to be coming up a little less often, but not solved.
The other issue was that after the upgrade user profile pics are not visible.
There is a path to an image but nothing there...e.g.

You haven't told us what version you upgraded from...also, have you tried clearing caches...another possible fix is to turn off slash arguments.

I believe it was 2.7. I thought I had copied the folder before upgrading but it turns out it was only partially copied so I can't really see what version it was. Def not 3.
I did purge all caches but have not turned off slash arguments for now. Would prefer to avoid that if I can.

Did you copy over the folder with the 3.3 version? You should have moved the original folder, not copied it. That might cause an issue. Also,if it is was a version prior to 2.7, you would have needed to upgrade to 2.7 first.
Did you do anything with the moodledata folder? Have you checked permissions?

I found out a solution for the "undefined" pop up.
1. go to the site management
2. advance settings
3. let without ticking the feature: set up messaging between users. This cause that the icon in the top bar and this service vanishe. But the pop up is vanished as well !!!!
4. save the changes
They wont be able to send messages each other but, who does it.
