Notifying Specific Users of Assignment Submissions

Hello,

I've been asked if it's possible to notify specific users of assignment submissions. We have about 10 different assignments in one of our courses and submissions to each of these assignments are reviewed by 1 of 6 people. We want it set up so only the person responsible for reviewing that particular assignment is notified of new submissions. Is this possible?

You need to set up separate groups for the assignments or the course and then create a duplicate teacher role and remove the permission to view all groups.  That should then allow them to just get notifications for their groups.
