How can one make sure tht an empty course section doesn't appear on the moodle mobile app?
Further to that, how can I make sure that my activity plugin also shows up on the mobile app?

For the second part of your question, do you mean you have written a custom activity plugin? It is possible to create a mobile version of your plugin, but may be some work. I think the documentation page is here:

Yes, I have written quite a few. I would like to have them working on the mobile app as well.
Also, how do I hide a course section.
And orphanes sections, how do i hide those?
