We have been using crosswords and have set them up to allow (maximum) one attempt. However, students are able to do the crossword multiple times. We have set up the crossword to use the highest grade and use the first attempt grade to see if that would help. Neither stops students doing the crossword multiple times. It has helped using the first attempt grade but we don't want them to spend their time doing more if they are allowed only one attempt. Has anyone had this happen to them and did you find a way to fix it?
