Moodle vs STILE

Moodle vs STILE

I was wondering if anyone has had experience with STILE? Currently we are not accessing any Moodle partners and our costs are all internal to our school system. I know there is a cost to STILE but I have had some teachers requesting research into the difference feeling there is capability in STILE that is not in Moodle.

Thanks for any input,

Emily

Can't say I've heard of STILE either. Personally I think you'd get more feedback if you listed the functionality you have been told STILE has and Moodle doesn't.

Well, I have heard of STILE, and it has a relationship here with STELR, a science and technology initiative. STELR is a great idea but its use of STILE limits it severely. STILE was pretty much a second rate, seriously buggy platform that is expensive and of dubious value due to its demands for a narrow set of operating conditions and low adaptability. Well that was my impression of it when I first ran into it and nothing I have seen recently has led me to moderating that view.  I know, pretty harsh, but....
