One student can't upload assignment and gets "Course or activity not accessible" message

Hello,

We encounter a strange problem that affects only one student.
While enrolled into a course, this student can not submit a file to an assignment and receives message "Course or activity not accessible" while trying to pick a file.
This problem raises only to this person but in all of his courses, as well for individual assignments as for group assignments.
The assignments do not have any restrictions defined. 

We had a look to Moodle forum and this error message seems to be due to permissions problems.

But we do not find any problem with this person account nor restrictions that could justity this error.

Our Moodle is a 3.1.1+.

Is it across different browsers?  Have you verified it is related to the student account by logging in as the student?  You need to check the individual permissions from the account.

The problem raises on all browsers and arises also while we take the student role.
I will have a look on individual permissions but we never tuch these parameters.

I had a look on the user permissions and everything looks normal.

An actual mystery.

Something is causing it...are these time restricted activities by chance?  A timezone issue?  It has to be something with that particular student so it has to be in preferences or permissions somewhere.

We had an other case with that problem and while having a look on the user profile, it seems this person has no first name. 

This person has no first name and does not have to have one.

May that explain the problem ?
