Hello!
One teacher reported to me that he found the grade total of some students were not correct. He setup a grade category "Midterm examination" inside a sub grade category "Examinations" and gave the value in category "Midterm examination" manually. The aggregation of "Examinations" was set to "Weight mean of grades" and only one item - "Midterm examination" (not a grade item...) was added in this grade category, that means the value of "Midterm examination" and "Examinations" should be the same.
However, the "Examinations" total of some students became the double of "Midterm examination" which were not correct, the screenshots of grader report and settings are attached as below. Although this grade book design is strange, the total should be correct.
For those incorrect records, If we change the value of "Midterm examination", the total of "Examinations" will be updated and corrected, but it is time consuming to do it one by one.
We would like to know whether there has a better solution rather than update the records one by one. We would also want to know if this problem exists in the latest Moodle version (our Moodle version is 2.9.7 Build: 20160711).
