moodledata on Microsoft IIS (Internet Information Services)

Hello,

I have been handed a moodle platform at the start of this year which needs fixing !

For now it is not running on any linux distribution but on Microsoft Azure. Seeing that users could no longer upload assignments we noticed that we have just attained the maximum drive capacity where moodledata is located.

Nightly backups of our site have already been put into place. I would be very interested in the options ordinarily open to us in this situation so that users can again deposit files (currently denied due to lack of space for moodledata).

In the meantime, we have increased the ~200GB drive to 500GB and restarted the server but it's like as though moodle does not see the change that has occurred.

We thank in advance for any help you can bring,

Kindly,

David.

Hi Usman,

Thanks for your response. I just ran it a moment ago and I'm tempted to say yes. Onscreen printout included in the attached text file.

David.

Indeed they are running fine, weird thing still moodle is thinking space is low. try emptying cache (deleting "cache" and "localcache") folders and see if moodle regains its intelligence.

Glad it worked, I will happily recommend to anyone to delete caches on every maintenance, it just refreshes moodle like new.
