I've uploaded the latest Moodle logo as a Photoshop file.

I'm quite happy with it as a final logo (for now wink) and I hope you are too. You can see it being applied in various ways at the Moodle shop.

Thanks to everyone who contributed so far in different ways: Rob (for the hat), Jeffery (for various gel-looks and keeping things going), Eloy (for some smooth inspiration and the colour), John (for enthusiasm and ideas), Gustav (for shortening the dl), Will and others for feedback along the way.

Let the proliferation of banners and other stuff commence!

I really like the look of this logo against an orange gradient (the one on this desktop is between #EF9F2E and #DA7100). This is the sort of direction I'd like for the moodle.org theme, with some shiny bits here and there (see this clock for another example)

I like the logo a lot Martin !

Abouth the shop, is there a discount for translators smile .

No serious, in springtime a have a congress with a lot of blackboard and smartschoollovers. In Belgium, the catholic schools are grouped together and that group offers blackboardaccounts on a "payment per account"-base I suggested them to use Moodle, for the good price, the flexibility and usability for young children, the ease of installation and hosting, the scalibility of the hardwarerequirements,... but they were not interested sad I started the discussion already on their forum, but I will be happy to walk in a Moodle T-shirt on the yearly congress in may  boosaardig

Will you use the new logo to replace the "made with moodle" -logo ? This one looks more like a logo for a tool to build educational envirements, and not just any content management system.

Once I receive my "test" merchandise to check the quality I'll see what I can do about
sending some presents.  smile

While talking about the t-shirts, would people prefer the small logo on the front to be just a little "m" with a hat on it?

Yes, the new logo should somehow replace the made with moodle logo.

Hi,

Well... I could be anything but a graphic designer.. this is just an idea that other might take and make it right.

I just added a diploma to "complete" the scene... smile

Well, my test merchandise arrived! Took only a week to get to me in Australia.

Mostly it all looks very good (see attached photo). The mug, clock, sticker and bag looks great, and the coasters too, although they came out yellowish.

I'm not entirely happy with the T-shirts ... they look fine from a distance, but up close the colours are a bit faint, and the shadows are greenish. I think I can partially fix this in T-shirt 2.0 by using a white background instead of a clear one. I'll definitely redo the design, too, so the front has a small M only, and the back has the full logo, with the tag line "open source software for collaborative learning" and the moodle.org address.

Woohoo!

Cafepress stuff arrived this morning.  I am now wearing a *very* comfortable moodle sweatshirt.  All soft and fleecy inside.  Niiice!

Also, the coasters and the baseball shirt have arrived and look good.

I see what you mean about the slight greenish tinge to the edge of the colours, but it isn't that noticeable.

I'm very pleased with the stuff.
