Just want to share a simple documentation I made for teachers and course creators. I've translated the book to english to make it more shareable (how many of you know portuguese? wink )

Excellent - would it be ok if I broke the document up into sub sections? So then people could link to just the bit they want/need to see?

We have a how to use Moodle course that you are more than welcome to have (as is anyone).

IF you'd like to take a look just go here.

The course is still evolving but you can download the latest nightly backup from the course if you want to & use it as you see fit.

Hi Paul,

I've tried to download the last nightly backup but it's been impossible. Some kind of zip file gets downloaded but it only has 3 Kb and cannot be opened.

Also, a lot of links don't seem to work when you access as a guest. I've tried to view 'How to use the lesson module' or 'sample books (login as a guest)' but it takes me to a screen where it asks me again to login as a guest and you get into a loop.

Hmm - no worries - I'll email you the link to make an account.

The Sample Books is a link to another site - it's not ours!

But we do use a book resource in the "Block" section of the course Section 6 I think...

Well, I signed in and now I realize the reason I couldn't view the lesson about the lesson module is that "This lesson closed on Saturday, 12 February 2005, 05:55 PM." blush. However, even having signed on I still seem unable to download the nightly backup of the course. Same thing that was happening before is happening now. There is no way to download the zip file. If I click on it, it tells me "access not allowed". If I do 'save file as', it saves a zip file whose size is much smaller than the backup file and which cannot be opened.

Err - lesson has been fixed (I'll get me coat).

I will replace the directory resource with a link to last nights zip file instead  -dunno why it's not happy...

Hello Ulrike,
Your Portuguese colleagues should have - I think João as the cool documentation only in english- a  look at the portuguese Moodle. I posted there one (gratis) Moodle-course in portuguese/brasilien.
