15th December: Backpack connection to Persona.org service shut down!

Our students want to export the badge achieved in our Moodle to https://backpack.openbadges.org

They go to Home /  Dashboard /  Preferences /  Badges /  Backpack settings and click on "Sign in with your Email"

They get the information that "The persona.org service has shut down"; nobody can't actually connect our Moodle platforms to https://backpack.openbadges.org anymore.


Any solution? The link to Persona is still present in Moodle, even in the latest release and in https://demo.moodle.net/ ...

Thanks for highlighting this problem with the Open Badges backpack connection. It is reported in the Moodle Tracker as MDL-57429, though unfortunately there is no solution as yet.

To indicate that you would like the issue to be fixed as soon as possible, please vote for it (you'll need to create a tracker account, as mentioned in the tracker introduction guide). You may also wish to watch the issue so that you receive email notifications of updates.
