can we hide add an activities for teacher except videos .
give them right as a non-editing teacher. They can not edit or add activities.

Thank u for your reply . some what it is useful for me but teacher should not view any admin added activities except videos but student should view all the activities except videos .

You can user the Override permissions feature to do this. See:

For each of the videos, you go into the Administration area for that module (it will vary depending on the module you are using to hold the video of course: Label or URL or File or Page, etc) and then use either the Locally assigned roles or more likely the Permissions area to take away the ability of the editing Teacher role to view that particular activity.
If you don't want regular Teacher role to not even see an activity at all, you would usually take away the view capability. You could set the Teacher role capability for View resource to Prevent or Prohibit to do this. (See screenshot).
(My only advice when you do this sort of thing is: be absolutely sure to document what you did, so in the future, when you have long forgotten about it and it crops up again, you will remember what, why, and how you did it ;)
