Here is an interesting article about the security flaws in skype. What are others thoughts on this...Should we worry about this?

Hmm it's not exactly detailing them is it - all it comes down to is that Skype has "unknown vulnerabilities" - hmmm - might as well say it is the evil spawn of P2P ....

Skype said that these issues have been fixed in 1.4.0.84 that was released 25.10.
Our support dropped Skype but I don't know if I could use it unsupportedly
Maybe should have an eye out for alternatives: Google Talk. Requires a Gmail account though, anybody have invites?

I havn't tried google talk yet. I know it isn't too MAC friendly though. You can use it to chat with people who use ICHAT but you can't talk to them using the VOiP. Skype is nice because you can talk to both PC and MAC people.
