And there is the deeply lovely Notepad++. I beleive PhpStorm is very good but I have yet to get the debugging working. I even went to the bother of getting a free open source licenss for it recently. Eclipse always struck me as the work of a tortured mind. Shortly I shall fire up VIM again, and on my desk is the big fat Vi Improved book from O'Reilly that I never seem to open.
