The first issue is that Moodle doesn't understand 'Campus'. How do you store in Moodle what Campus they belong to?

I was hoping that there was some way (possibly via IP addresses or via AD properties) we could determine the location of the students. This is a request from someone at work who would like those details.

If you have a fixed ip range for each campus then that might be possible as the logs do record the ip address the user has accessed from - anything outside those ranges then being 'off-campus'.
Not sure whether you could get that our as a single report though or whether youd have to do a separate report for each ip range, or export to a spreadsheet to do some of the data crunching
