PoodLL icons not shown in menu of the editor

Hi All,

on my Moodle-Instance (2.9.1) I installed poodLL i.e. the

packages:

filter_poodll

tinymce_poodll

repository_poodll

qtype_poodllrecording

assignsubmission_onlinepoodll

datafield_poodll

assignment_poodllonline

atto_poodll

assignfeedback_poodll)

Then I obtained a registration key at http://poodll.com/registration/ for PoodLL Filter

and switched PoodLL Filter on as well as the  poodle repository.

When I try to add an activity such as „text page“ I would

expect to see poodLL icons in the menu bar of the editor.

But it is missing….

On the overview site for all plugins I can see, that

all my plugins are installed. There is one „section“

called „Assignment 2.2 (Disabled) / assignment“.

It includes a plugin „PoodLL Online“ (assignment_poodllonline)

which is disabled. So I started the „Assignment upgrade helper“

which says that there is no assignment to upgrade.

We started with Moodle 2.9.1 and never made an upgrade.

Can you get me started on how to get PooDLL running e.g.

let pupils exchange video sequences or play around with

flach cards etc.?

I would be grateful for starting help here!

Regards,

Sonja

I think you are pretty close. Did you click this button to display all the Atto icons

Also check in the Atto toolbar settings in:

site admin -> plugins -=> text editors -> atto HTML editor -> atto toolbar settings

that PoodLL is listed in the items to display.

Hi ,

...and thanks!

The above mentioned button to display all the Atto icons is not shown,

I think the PoodLL installation is correct.

I clicked to

site admin -> plugins -=> text editors -> atto HTML editor -> atto toolbar settings

which lists the Atto plugins.

There I see e.g.:

PoodLL Anywhere(Atto)

THere I also can see the "Show/hide advanced buttons". In the settings of it I can only choose many groups are shown when collapsed. But this icon is nor shown within the editor.

Thanks for  answer!

Cheers,

Sonja

Well then it is is possible that the editor you are using is not Atto, but TinyMCE. That is the other editor in Moodle. Somwhere in site admin ->plugins -> texteditors you will be able to change from one to the other. Actually PoodLL Anywhere is available for TinyMCE too, so you could take that route also.
