Do you count the death from the time something is born? Ubuntu 11.04 was supported until the 28 October 2012. So three and half years, I would say.

The PHP and MySQL versions are the critical ones. Yes, as others have pointed out https://moodle.org/mod/forum/discuss.php?d=329846#p1327159 this is a killer - for Moodle 2.7 that is.
