Dear Experts ,

I am having some technical problems with my new project -www.careerschoolonline.com.

I am a newbie and have tried many things but could not work it out.

1. The website is very slow and many times it does not show the images, It shows as X.The image sizes are less than 50 Kb and not many images on many pages. It shows as a long blank box with X on top left of the box for image.

2.It shows 500 Internal server error  often.

I will greatly appreciate if some one can help.

Thanks a lot .

Sushil

Hi Sushil,

At the moment I can only see the landing page and a login page - it also states that the landing page is created by GoDaddy Instant Pages.  Is this even a Moodle site?

You will have to give us much more information if people here are to help you.

All the best

Andy

Dear Andy,

Thanks a lot for checking out the website. I have a Go daddy as host and domain provider and  downloaded Moodle and have  developed courses .Yes for sure it is a Moodle site. I have worked on Essential theme and have many plugins and course content also added.

I am extremely sorry as it was not showing up. Its my mistake ,The Site name actually is thecareerchoolonline.com

http://www.thecareerschoolonline.com/

I am trying to develop online courses about job search and career advancement.

Greatly appreciate any feedback.

Warm regards

Sushil

Sushil, which hosting plan you went for?

Your site rendering  is indeed slow, the quickest advice I would give is making use of CDN, as if it would have been the bandwidth issue only, then CDN would have surely helped, but even accessing your site from US or Canada where I believe your server resides, it's really slow means your allocated servers are slow.

Lets just start with setting up a CDN network on your site, and then see where we stand in terms of site speed, if that didn't helped much, then only solution will remain is:

Switching hosting provider for equal price

Upgrading  to a VPS

That is why I always stress upon the importance of choosing the right provider for hosting Moodle, for handling moodle isn't something that every ISP can do.
