I want to restrict the number of attempts for each course. What I would like to achieve is that a student can start the course, go though the whole course, do the final test and finally click on 'finish course'. This accounts for 1 attempt. It would be great that after doing this 2 times the student cannot access the course any more.
Currently I have set things up at attempts management in the edit SCORM package page. The settings I use are as follows:
However when I test this I see that students can do the course more then 2 times. After attempting a course with the above settings I see this:
Number of attempts allowed: 2
Number of attempts you have made: 1
Grade for attempt 1: 0%
Grading method: Highest attempt
Grade reported: 0%
It seems that the number of attempts never becomes more then one. So after the first attempt the number goes from 0 to 1, after the second attempt and more the number of attempts stays on 1.
Probably there is some other setting I need to take into account but I do not know where to look. Can anyone help me? Many thanks in advance!
