In the past, people have complained that the during a quiz attempt, there is only a Next button, and not Previous, and that it is more common in this sort of user interfact to have both buttons.
And, I have argued that we intentionally only included one button, in order to simplicy the user interface as much as possbile.
Well, now we are in the process of redesigning the OU theme, and we want to add both previous and next buttons in the quiz (and the proposed design makes that look nice). I am wondering, should I put that code into standard Moodle too?
I am inclined to think yes. In Moodle core the forum and book activities have both previous and next links, and consistency is good.
Please let me know what you think about this.
