Using Smartboard Notebook Files

Using Smartboard Notebook Files

I have uploaded several lessons to my site, but am unable to open the files in  moodle.  They are Smartboard Notebook files with an .xkb extension.  How can I do this without allowing them (students) to download the file?

Hi Luke,

There are actually only a few file types that will open in a web browser (some of which,  e.g. MS Office files, depend upon the web browser).  Unfortunately Smartboard notebook files don't open in any web browser.

However, you may wish to consider saving the files in a format that will open in a web browser e.g. html or pdf.

Thank you. In the back of my mind I knew that, but was hoping that there might be a way to do it in order to keep the interactivity with Smart lessons. Thank you again.
