the "logical" wp2moodle plug-in actually comes with two distinct plug-ins, the one above for WordPress and https://github.com/frumbert/wp2moodle-moodle for Moodle: they must be paired.
In the WordPress counterpart the code says Moodle 2.2+: the Moodle counterpart is based on a auth plug-in and does not use any Moodle Web Service (WS) which could give it the Moodle version compliance until the current WS API is supported (almost forever).
In this case, to know the answer you need to:
a. hope someone in the Moodle Community already tested it
b. test it by your own
c. ask the developer
