Uploading scores to SCORM package

Hi all,

I'm transferring from one LMS over to Moodle and trying to transfer scores already attained to the new system. I know you can't trasnfer statuses like passe dor complete but that you can attach number scores.

I've been trying to do this by going into the Module and SCORM package I want to update with scores. Then clicking grade admin, Import CSV file.

My CSV file is in the followingformat (all in one column):

Email ID*;Module901 - Bank Guarantee

john.smith@company.com;80

joe.jones@company.com;90

Selecting semicolon as separator. At this point the import preview looks great, exactly what I want!  I'm selecting

Identify User by:

Map from Email ID*.  Map to email address.

Grade item mappings

Email ID* Ignore

Module 901 - Bank Guarantee-  SCORM Package: 901: Bank Guarantee

I get this error........ 'User mapping error: Could not find user with email address of 'john.smith@company.com'.

Import failed. No data was imported.

It could be that the user John is no longer with the company so I haven't set him up an account already. I assumed the import process would just skip people they didn't recognize in the cohort and upload the rest.

What am I doing wrong? Any help would be much appreciated.

Do you *really* need to do that? Can't you just load them into the Gradebook (which is certainly possible)?

Hi Howard,

I'm looking for any way to upload the scores so users don't need to redo them and we can keep record of the old data.

How would I go about loading them into the gradebook? Thanks
