In 1.5.2, I added a logo to the front page in the standardblue theme. About two months later, I upgraded from 1.5.2 to 1.5.2+ and then the logo did not display. I have looked at the code and cannot see where the problem is. The header.html file is the same as it was in 1.5.2.
Even uploading a logo.jpg file to site files for the Standard logo theme does not work, and yet the theme is selected in administration.
I don't know if this is related, but the Wikipedia block no longer works either and I suspect it may be something to do with how the path is handled and the $CFG->wwwroot setting.
Could returning from 1.5.2+ to 1.5.2 lead to other problems more serious than the absence of the logo?
Any suggestions or questions?
Thanks.
The logo on the top page displays in the Standard Logo theme now, but will not display in theme where it worked previously in 1.5.2. That theme was based on Standard Blue.
The Wikipedia gif now displays.

Sorry. I was wrong. I moved to a different computer and the logo jpg was in the browser cache. So the logo on the top page isn't actually displaying in 1.5.2+ even though it was in 1.5.2 just before the upgrade. After the upgrade, I moved mytheme from 1.5.2 backup into the new ./moodle/theme directory.
Should mytheme have been reconstructed rather than copied over?

John, I could not find out from your explanation if you directly changed "standardblue"? If changed "standardblue" did you try to replace the theme with your old one after the update?
The easiest would be to post the URL to that site so that I can look at it.
Urs
Urs, Thanks. I took mytheme (based on a standardblue modification) from the 1.5.2 installation and copied it directly into the /moodle/theme directory in the 1.5.2+ installation. It didn't display the logo.
Now I am running 1.5.2+ using the Standardlogo theme with a logo.gif and logo.jpg both in /moodle and in the Site Files directory.
Please have a look: http://moodle.u-aizu.ac.jp/moodle
I can also post the header.html file, if that would help.
Cheers,
John

John, your Moodle site contains a link to - exactly one place you described. When I try to load the logo directly through entering the URL into my browser I get "You don't have permission to access /moodle/logo.jpg on this server."
Can you please check if there is an access restriction to those files.
Urs
Urs,
Thank you for the suggestion about permissions. I set those properly for the data and program folders and that solved the problem.
