I'm going to assume you have unchecked the 'slash arguments' option in you moodle and this has resolved the issue (forgive me if that is not the case).
Unfortunately doing this is kinda just fixing the symptoms rather than addressing the cause and when moodle 3.x rolls around a slash arguments compatible set-up will become mandatory. Basically everyone who has just unchecked that box is going to have to get around to fixing their HTTPd/php eventually, so why not now?
