How does garbling of japanese in excel, email, and the graphs affect you?
If you are are suffering from garbling problems there is an answer, there are two patches

available that will cure the garbling problems completely. They could be applied to moodle but there does not seem to be much demand from users in Japan.
If you would like to see the patch to prevent garbling applied to moodle proper then please consider detailing your problems, the difficulty you would (or would not?) find with using the patch, and if appropriate, how grateful you would be on this forum at Using moodle

Perhaps everyone is happy with the patches? Perhaps everyone is having no problems?
