Hi Moodlers,

As per the deadline, I have released the first stable version of Essential for Moodle 2.9: https://moodle.org/plugins/pluginversion.php?id=9425

I have decided to hold off on the remaining issues until new information comes to light that help solve them: https://github.com/gjb2048/moodle-theme_essential/milestones/Moodle%202.9%20version - if you are a JavaScript Guru, then you input would be appreciated 微笑.

I would like to thank everybody who has tested and supported the theme without whom this release would not have been possible.

This release has the following changes since 2.9.0.9:

- FIX: Issue #541: PHP Fatal error: Class 'theme_essential\\theme_config' not found in /classes/toolbox.php on line 447.
- FIX: Issue #543: Alternative colors: box borders remain in standard color.
- FIX: Issue #544: Alternative colors: background hover always black in standard color scheme.
- FIX: Issue #547: Alternative colors: background hover on the frontpage.
- FIX: Issue #548: Slideshow: slidebuttoncolor does not have an effect.
- FIX: Issue #550: Breadcrumb menu "eaten away" when tighter window.
- FIX: Issue #552: Alternative colors: layer in mobile layout with wrong color.
- FIX: Tweak collapsed navbar menu.
- FIX: Availability dialogue messed up.
- FIX: Editing button icon.
- FIX: RTL fixes in alternative colours.
- FIX: Tab colour fixes for default and alternative colours.
- FIX: Button colour fixes for default and alternative colours.
- FIX: Collapsed menu layout.
- NEW: Fourth alternative colour scheme.  Thanks to Christian Niemczik for supporting and funding the work on the Essential Theme.

I am planning an M3.0 version.

Hey. Sorry for my English.

After installing a new stable version, I still have a problem with the message "Development version - test server only.". I tried to find it in code, but in vain. 傷心

Hi Martin,

Where did you get the theme from?

The only official places to get the releases for end users are:

If you pull directly from one of the GitHub branches (there is now a MOODLE_29 branch to allow 'master' to be for M3.0) then that is where I develop and that message could happen.

Ah, so that now it's OK. Now I have downloaded and installed from the address https://github.com/gjb2048/moodle-theme_essential/releases and that's fine.

So it's probably a mistake at that address https://moodle.org/plugins/pluginversions.php?plugin=theme_essential
