Glossary item popularity

Glossary item popularity

Hello

This year we are using the glossary as a database of questions and quick answers as it is such a strong tool that you can put all kinds of content into.  However, I would like to be able to analyse the popularity of clicks on particular concepts.  This isn't being reported in the logs on the tool.  Have any of you tried to do something similar?  Any tips or tricks?

Thanks

How would you measure 'popularity'?

1. A student could click on a concept but not be impressed with the content of the Glossary and feel they need to find more information elsewhere

2. A student could be viewing the concepts simply by scrolling through the alphabetical list (or categories, authors or even date to find the newest entries), it is not necessary to click on a single glossary entry to view it.

In this instance, a simple click count is probably not worth a lot in terms of useful/usable data.
