In our institution we have a situation, where a team assignment was uploaded to Moodle. The assignment module In the case of a team assignment, will automatically add something like: "Team 1 - Student Name_1234567_assignnsubmission_file" to the front of the file name. Then the instructor downloads all the submission files to his desktop. There is a zip file in his desktop containing all the submissions.When the instructor tries to unzip the file he gets this error message:
"An unexpected error is keeping you from copying the file. If you continue to receive this error, you can use the error code to search for help with this problem.
Error 0x80010135: Path too long"
One of the submission files has a long name (around 250 characters).
Is there a way to validate that when the student uploads his assignment in order to avoid this error for the instructor?
