This problem has come up many times over the years I have used Moodle. I am admin for a 2.9.1 install.
The problem is that the automated backups "stall" from time to time. IN the case in the image below, this is the first backup ever of a new install, and I can't get it to start. Notice that the date of the pending backup is in the past.
What can be done to force this backup to start and finish? I have had this issue with several versions of moodle on several different servers. It comes and goes.
Any ideas what is happening? Thanks
