Reporting back on this one....
Yep, it was the autofill in Chrome. I used Firefox and there was no problem. But after I fixed it in Firefox, then went back to Chrome, those two fields were still yellow and still insisted on filling them in.
Lesson here is that whenever you install something, make sure that if you see yellow fields, check them to be sure that is the data you want to be used. In my case, I did NOT want the info it autofilled, but if I had not checked, it would have supplied that info and then I would have had problems later on and tracking it down would have been tedious and time-wasting.
