It should move automatically as the jQuery for it is in Moodle. That said I do find that sometimes there is a time lapse whenever you click a menu or the Site Administration link in the side bar.  Same too for the Slider, the auto revolve mechanism appears to be very sluggish.

Thanks again, Mary.  It appears that the auto-advance requires a click on one of the arrows to initiate.  Once I advanced the image once, then it continued on its own.  Thank you very much for your help!
