problems with Moodle SCORM reporting from Captivate 8

We've created several courses in Captivate 8 and published to our Moodle 2.6. In every course, for about 5% of users, there are serious reporting problems.

In one case, the user's quiz grade reports as 0 in the grader, but when you click on their activity, it says "Status: Completed" and when you click on interactions, you can clearly see which quiz questions they got right and wrong, and that they passed the 80% "pass" threshold.

In another case, the user's grade appears as 0, their status shows as Incomplete and that they suspended the course at some point partway through, but they swear up and down that they've completed it, and in some cases even have screen grabs of their scores (as displayed to the user from the Captivate module).

This only impacts some users -- everyone else reports their grades just fine. But in every course, both of these problems have happened to a noticeable chunk of users, and I truly don't know how to troubleshoot it.  Any advice as to what could be going wrong?

Hi,

Did you ever find a solution to your problem as we seem to have the exact same problem on Moodle 2.5.8 and Captivate 7.0.1.237.

Sporadic grades of "0" for maybe 10% of learners for all our Captivate Scorm Quiz. It happens so often now that some learners are showing print screens of the actual grade they received to prove that the reports are wrong. The actual attempt is being recorded, just not the grade. If they take the quiz again, it will sometimes work, other times not..

Here are my options:

Captivate 7.0.1.237: My GUI is in French so I might translate the options wrong, sorry)
Preferences/Quiz
Activate communication for this project is checked.
Standard: SCORM 1.2
Incomplete -> Finished
Score quiz : percent
success/failure option: 80%
In case of success: Continue
In case of failure: Unlimited attempts
LMS advanced Settings:
Send Data on every slide is unchecked
Never Send Resume Data is checked
Set exit to normal after completion is checked
Escape Version and Session ID is checked

Moodle options:

Appearance:
Display package: New Window
Student skip content: Never

Grade:
Grading method: Highest grade
Maximum grade: 100

Attempts management:
Number of attempt: 3
Force new attempt: yes
Lock after final attempt: yes

Compatibility settings
Force completed: yes
Auto-continue: no

Activity completion:
Require grade: checked
Require minimum score: 80

For our next quiz, we might publish it to not open in a new window as it's possible to reproduce a similar problem if a learner completes a quiz, minimize the window and logs out of Moodle without closing the quiz window's first.
Any other options you have tried?

Thanks!
