I am trying to create an event to a certain group on the frontpage Calendar, all i get is user and site events.
is there a way to create group events on the frontpage. I am using moodle 2.8.6

this worked once by adding a recurring session in calendar scheduler for one group that was available via the front page for the particular group -

What I did was enrolled all users into a course specifically for events,news and messages, I then created groups I want and posted any events from course calendar. I have dubbed it a "communications page"
