Is it possible to copy a quiz from one course to another without having to physically recreate it question by question? The quiz in question leads to a certificate.
Backup and restore (just select the quiz)
Or, plain Import should also work. I believe that will automatically do the backup/restore without going through all the individual steps.

How about moving all the questions in the category used for the quiz under the parent category Default for System, then creating the quiz with all the questions in the published category ?

Michael - a word about the Sharing Cart and quizzes - it can work but if there are images in the questions and/or the answers be sure to go into the copy of the quiz and check the links and make sure the images have been maintained.

A security / privacy tip:
Prior to import or backup + resport make sure thal the quiz only uses the questions from its own question bank, rather than from the course-wide Question bank. This way you will actually only copy the questions you need intead of the source course's entire question bank.
