How do I get a zipped file of an html5 course to run on moodle.
I tried to upload it as a File, but when I click on the resource, it just wants me to download it.

It is somewhat unclear what you have but if it is HTML, I would suggest setting it up as a Page. It would take copying and pasting the html over though.
I assume you unzipped it after upload and nominated main file?
