I need to configure a forum so that teachers or students can post a new discussion but only teachers can reply. Is there a way to do this?
The scenario is an "ask the expert forum".

check the permissions of your forum. Take away the students permission to reply on a forum post. https://docs.moodle.org/27/en/Capabilities/mod/forum:replypost
