Changing the colour of the "show/hide block" icons

Hey all,

I need to change the colour of the show/hide icon that reside in the header of each resource block. I'd normally do this easily via CSS, but as these icons are seemingly generated on the fly by javascript I'm not too sure how to change them.

Does anyone have any suggestions?

Hi Charlotte,
the show/hide icons are NOT generated on the fly, they are gifs which reside in the \pix directory of your moodle installation
\moodle\pix\t\switch_minus.gif
and
\moodle\pix\t\switch_plus.gif

If you want to change their colour, you'll have to edit those gif files in a graphics software.

I've done it for my - forthcoming - orangechoc new theme... See screen dump attached

Aha! Trust me not to look for the obvious solution. This has been driving me around the bend for the past couple of hours, but I guess that it shows what lack of sleep does to a girls mind. wink

Thanks for your help Jospeh!
