I would like to upload 1.5.2 as a clean upload on to a Linix/Appachi with Mysql
I have already managed to upgrade my Mambo to 4.5.2.3 with success and add more modules to it.
My server addresscreations.com only offers 1.1.1 of Moodle. but I would like to have at least a Moodle that offers spell check in the editor.
I have to add zip/tar files through cuteFTP because my Controle pannel does nothing to open them. But it take a long time. So long that my downloads are timing out on the language file.
I do not have access to the Mysql through the addresscreations controle pannel so I have to find a way to open Mysql in the FTP
Can anyone point out just exactly where I should ad the mysql code for the moodle under the mysql section in the PHP. I don't want to mess up my PHP by putting it in the wrong place.
Wish the upload directions were much more specific about this.
I am not a programer but I am an educator and I can read directions and following precisely. I'm just asking for some unambiguous task analysis here.
