Suggestion for new administration features

- Is possible to create separated administration areas for each course? If I subscribe a course (e.g. course 101), I'm enrolled automatically into other courses.

- Is possible to add a e-teacher (or e-tutor) feature?

Not true: each course is enrolled separately. It's just that some courses deliberately have automatic enrolment (no key required).

I don't know what you mean, unless you mean some sort of robot who will teach all your courses for you. wink

Oh yes... I think adding an AI presenece to Moodle would be a wonderful addition.  It wouldn't have to teach the whole course... maybe just an e-GTA (electronic graduate teaching assistant).  Of course, it should be programmed and regularly updated with the latest innovative pedagogy on a regular basis.   And heck, I got all excited at the washing machine release (1.0.6.2 I think?) thinking you'd added a feature so that Moodle could do my laundry.  <sigh>   wink.gif

Ok.. here's a more realistic nifty add on idea: a fetaure so that that students can quickly see at a single glance the status of all the assignments they've turned in... it would help them quickly do a heads up to make sure they've turned everything in and also see any grades and comments they'e received on those assignments.  The idea of checking back at the place they submitted their assignments to get grades doesn't always seem to be intuitive to them, and as the end of the semester approached I find they often are going down assignment by assignment to see their status in the class, taking note of their grades as they go along--having a single page to see that information would probably make the task more friendly.

Oh... and another idea (because clearly, we're trying to sabotage any hope you have of finishing your dissertation... but hey, this one is probably far less code involved): when you add a resource that points to a file on the host computer, make it possible to upload the file right then and there, instead of assuming that the teacher has had the foresight of going to the file manager before going to add the resource.  It's far from a huge thing, but would just be a friendly touch. smile
