Site url changes from https to http when trying to enter URL

I'm using a  Pantech P9060 phone running Android and when I type in my sites URL into the Moodle Mobile app, the https address gets changed to http and I can't log in.  

Here are the steps:

1.Installed Moodle Mobile on phone

2.Type in https URL, press go on keyboard  and URL changes to http with empty name and password fields

3.Cannot go to URL field to change without pressing Reset


I've checked and my site is running Moodle 2.6.4 and has the web services enabled.
