1) How many Simultaneous or Concurrent Users  does Moodle Support? OR How Scalable Moodle is with respect to simultaneous or concurrent users?

2)What Hardware capacity is required for this?

Moodle scales very well, simply by throwing more hardware at the problem. 


I've always said about 20 *concurrent* users per GB of RAM is a starting point. Understand that we are really talking about processes in memory here. So that's 20 users doing something at the same time. That is completely different to users logged in and nothing whatever to do with the number of user accounts.

In reality, it depends on how your Moodle site is used and we can't help you with that. The best advice is always to run a pilot and measure what's happening carefully.
