I was looking for a way to put cohort syn. as a second enrolment method that would automatically be active in a new course (actually, manual enrolment is the only one that is active,). I already have enabled it and the method is available - but course creators would have to add it manually for each course.
After browsing the forums, I understand that this is not possible - am I right or does anybody know how to do that ?

As I have understood your query, I think you can accomplish it by creating a cohort system wide. When a cohort is created system wide then it is always available as the second option to enrol a user in a course.
As far as I know, there is no way to do this without hacking some code. What exactly are you trying to achieve - maybe there is another way to achieve your desired outcome.

Thank you for your answers ! I'm sorry I had not replied, I hadn't seen your answers (well that is not going to happen any more with the new Moodle possibility of getting notified of a discussion )
I suppose I was blind... actually the method does now appear (even if it does not appear in the enrolment methods page) it's just anoter way of showing it (I join a screenshot so other blind users will see it too)
