We are using a number of activities, which have the activity completion setting as 'Student must receive a grade to complete this activity'. Two examples of this are Face-to-face and Subcourse.
The problem is, although there is a pass rate set of 100% for these activities, if the student does not pass, it still assigns the fact that they have completed the activity.
It shows in the completion report as a big red X, which logically would mean they have not completed the activity, however moodle marks off that it has.
For example, if someone books into a face to face session, yet does not turn up, and they are marked as a 'No show', they are assigned a grade of 0%. Even with a passing grade required of 100%, that activity is still marked as completed, even though the student did not turn up. If the course completion requires you to turn up to the session, the course will still mark as complete.
Has anyone else come across this issue, and how have you got around it.
