Having verification errors on "email to private files"

Help!

Started about a week ago, Moodle 2.8, getting verification errors on email to private files.

- Parsing message 351
-- Subject:    Test again x 2
-- From:    XXXXXXXXXXXXXXX
-- Recipient:    lms+xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx
-- Processing the message as user 2 (cmolnar).
-- Message did not meet validation but is possibly recoverable. Fail code 64
--> Sending a message to the user to report an verification failure.
--- Original message retained on mail server and confirmation message sent to user.
-- Returning to the original user.


Anyone with some ideas?

Hello Chris,


From the looks of the code, this error is caused by the address expiring - it seems there is a expiation limit by default of 1 day on this setting. If you go to my private files, do you get a new address?

You can change the settings for the expiration time in:

Admin > Server  > Incoming mail configuration > Message handlers > Email to Private files

As a final point of caution - please be careful about sharing this email address like you have here - it could be used to send malicious files to your private files area.

I have done a small investigation and I think that the email address can't be regenerated, which seems like a big bug, i've reported it as MDL-48510.

I also see the similar errors when processing "email to private files".  How can I solve this problem?
