Does anyone else have an issue where a push notification (message or notification) causes the notification sound to play repeatedly (perhaps 5-10 times!) when a single push notification is received. There is only one notification but the sound is repeated.
This does seem to be device specific - experienced on an LG G2 Android 4.4.2 with Moodle Mobile 1.8 and 1.9. Fine on other devices tested!

Yes, I noticed it and I've opened this issue you may follow:
Is this what you mean (see attached grab) - multiple instances of the same device registered on my moodle profile?
An easy work-around for anyone else getting this error =>
In your profile disable all but one of your multiple device instances (example below) - then you'll only get one alert for that device.
Yes, that was I suggested.
In any case, this is a bug I'll be fixing for next Moodle minor releases
