How can my number of logins be decreasing?

I am using one of the prepackaged "User Reports" with these fields / columns:

ID number	Name	Summary	Edit
c1	User profile field	Last	
c2	User profile field	First	
c3	User profile field	Email	
c4	User profile field	Library Type	
c5	User profile field	Library	
c6	User profile field	State	
c7	User statistics	        Logins	
c8	User profile field	Date Created	
c9	User profile field	Last Login

The field that is causing me problems is c7, the Logins. 

My understanding is that this was total logins (covering all dates); this means the number should only increase every month as we get more users logging in more times. My October 'Logins' report, however, is a LOWER number than it was after September.

Does anyone have an idea why this might be happening?

EDIT: My colleague noticed another discrepency, that we have many users with 'Logins' equal to 1 or 2, but with no information in the 'Date Created' or 'Last Login' columns.

Bump.

Anyone have ideas / can help me figure this out? 

Problem tl:dr - # of logins at end of October LOWER than at end of September. Trying to figure out why / how.

Maybe your settings are deleting logs older than 30 days? Check site admin >server >cleanup

Hmmm, seems like a good idea, but I don't see anything in there that seems applicable. Here is my clean-up screen (attached).

Thanks for the response, though! Going to look more in this Server area and see if something else catches my eye.
